DevOps: What is DORA?

DevOps: What is DORA?

DORA is an acronym for DevOps Research and Assessment. The DORA team carry out research into the DevOps movement and produce “State of DevOps” reports to show what is happening in DevOps across teams across the world.

The DORA State of DevOps reports from 2014 onwards can be found at: https://dora.dev/publications/ and show the changing landscape of DevOps including the technology changes.

DORAs research helps to (scientifically / academically) show how a team’s software delivery capability and reliability ties into their organisational worth / how they help organisations perform better with values or business objectives.
