I’ve spent the last few blog entries going over Cron stuff and think the issue ( DISPLAY=:0 played a part) was down to remote accessing and the way sessions display screens.

I won’t go into too much detail tonight as I’m hoping that my work may appear somewhere else soon (fingers crossed). In the mean time I found the below XKCD comic very apt for my recent adventures;
